Description:

genConnect.com seeks Digital and Social Media Marketing Intern who will be responsible for disseminating genConnect content through websites, blogs, forums, social networks and bookmarking websites. Responsibilities will include: updating Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and Google +, exploring other networks such as LinkedIn and Tumblr to grow total online reach, grow fans and engagement on current social networks, help team manage multiple social media accounts, pitch content to outside websites and blogs, and place content on bookmarking websites.

** Internship is a work-from-home, remote position for college credit.

Qualifications:

Needed skills include: proficiency in social media marketing and social media tools such as bit.ly and Hootsuite, knowledge of SEO, ability to work well remotely with genConnect staff, and a knowledge of trends in the digital industry.

Intern needs to be available to provide weekend support for when staff covers events such as Sundance Film Festival, SXSW Interactive Conference and Aspen Food & Wine Classic.

Hours:

Hours range from 15 to 40 hours weeek
