Description:

We are currently interviewing to fill 4 internship/training positions that have the opportunity to evolve into paid and freelance assisting positions. We are looking to train a new team of enthusiastic individuals who will learn about and work in all aspects of the business of photography and fine art, with an emphasis on training for continued work with our team in the future.

You will get to be a part of art exhibitions, events, fashion shoots, and short films.
Things you will work on and learn about will include:

Still and video shooting
Pre and post production
Location scouting
Casting
Lighting
Working on locations and in studio
Possibly going to fashion week
Digital workflow
Retouching / photoshop
Working with 35mm film
Collage and painting
Printing / scanning
Interacting with galleries / magazines/ advertising
Working with new media (web based content)

We are looking for smart, motivated team players who above all else are interested in learning. We are not looking to hire assistants with previous experience, but to hire and train associates from the ground up to work in the integral support structure that is behind the creation of a high caliber of fine art.

Qualifications:

Internship Details:

Internship is for one semester (8-14 weeks) unpaid (school credit if applicable) You do not have to be a student to apply
The associates who are selected, may have the opportunity to continue on in one of 2 paid positions or a steady freelance assisting position.
All internships will include some intermittent small pay, and bonuses

Skills:
Tenacity, commitment, and the willingness to learn are paramount, no other skills are required and no experience is required in any of my fields to apply.

Please have a computer and skills with basic programs, word, excel, etc.
Skills in photoshop and capture one pro are a plus, however interests in learning these programs is a bigger plus
Skills /interest in Wordpress, HTML, Javascript, and interest in electronics are also a plus
