Intern Job Description
Business and Operations Interns will be asked to assist with any or all of the following: drafting and mailing letters, flyers, and pamphlets; event management; attending various meetings; developing and managing databases of parents, candidates, and supporters; proofreading and editing marketing materials; developing scopes and sequences; creating interim assessments; data analysis; developing Professional Development schedules; and general administrative support.Teaching Interns will assist teachers in any or all of the following: organizing and setting up classrooms; mini-lessons; small group instruction; classroom management; tutoring; data analysis; and classroom transitioning.
Qualifications:
South Bronx Classical is seeking candidates who are studying Education, Business, or a related field and have demonstrated success in their studies as well as and other pursuits. Reliability, strong communication skills, and knowledge of office software are requirements for all applicants. Successful candidates should have availability for at least 15 hours a week between 8am and 4pm Monday through Friday. For the right person, we can alter the Intern’s hours to fit his or her schedule.
