Description:

Yves Saint Laurent is currently seeking Creative Services interns for the Fall semester. Potential candidates should be highly motivated students with a strong passion for visual merchandising and event planning. School credit is required as internship is unpaid, and a minimum of three full days is preferred.

Duties:
-Acting as support in window installation and floor moves.
-Assisting with Market week merchandising.
-Assisting with visual displays for showrooms and events.
-Assisting with coordination of all corporate and retail events.
-Implementing visual directives and luxury standards into YSL boutique and wholesale showrooms.
-Working alongside buyers to push sales through merchandising.
- Ensure visual props and prototypes are organized.

And a passion for the brand and visual merchandising!

Qualifications:

Requirements:
-The intern must receive academic credit and is required to submit paperwork prior to enrollment (minimum of 2 full working days is required, 3 preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign preferred, although not required.
- Highly motivated to learn Visual Merchandising within a corporate environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to move quickly and carry heavy mannequins or other visual tools.
- Must be enrolled in college and be an undergraduate Junior or Senior.
