Description:

Brooklyns premier residential rental and commercial leasing firm seeks an ambitious college student to act as intern to the Marketing staff. Responsibilities include assistance with marketing projects and presentations. The students will also assist in implementation and monitoring of strategies designed to promote the company and broaden its client base. Assistance in raising the companys exposure may include research of online tools and search engine placement optimization strategies. Creativity and a desire to discover new ways to reach existing and new audiences, in an innovative manner, is a must. This internship will provide the interns an opportunity to develop and/or expand their portfolio to include design, programming, and/or social networking projects. Interns will have the opportunity to work directly with the staff of Ideal Properties Group, other interns, and a variety of real estate clients and customers in order to bring fresh, new and creative approaches to photography, video, stories, blogs, and more This intensive experience will enhance students pre-existing skills and help strengthen and diversify their design and presentation abilities.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will be proficient in online research techniques, and familiar with social networking concepts and website and search engine optimization strategies. Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash and HTML programming a definite plus. Must be personable (the students will enjoy working side-by-side with our energetic, yet friendly teams!), and have a positive attitude, as well as good organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Prior marketing experience helpful, but not required.
