As an intern at Darkfame, LLC, you would assist with a broad range of tasks including but not limited to; managing client promotions and promotional fulfillment; attending meetings and interaction with clients in a professional manner, relationship building and networking opportunities, updating and managing social media channels, attending and assisting with events which can include non-traditional hours and other duties as assigned. Every day is different at Darkfame!

Internship offers unique opportunity to work within a network that is well-respected in the industry. Candidate will have exposure to various media outlets and marketing strategies that will be useful experience for career building. Additionally, upon successful completion of the internship, you will receive a recommendation letter from a Darkfame executive.

Qualifications:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Must be highly organized, very detailed and an excellent communicator via email, phone and online chat.
Must be able to successfully and simultaneously manage many tasks of a broad variety in a timely and efficient manner.
Must be self-disciplined, able to work independently, proficient in time management
and a self-starter looking to grow in the industry.
Must have a positive attitude and a history of strong work ethic.
Must have a reliable mode of transportation.
Must have a reliable laptop with wifi capability.
Must be able to work hard but keep it fun.

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: Must currently be enrolled in four-year college for marketing, public relations, communications, or business.
Experience: Samples of past work or examples of capabilities for review.
Required skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and familiarity with social media outlets such as Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.
Preferred skills: PowerPoint, and familiarity with social media outlets such as YouTube and Flickr.

Hours:

6-10 hours per week, mostly Fridays
