French independent musician and filmmaker elodieO and her team are seeking an intern looking for hands-on involvement in the pre-production/financing phase of filmmaking.

elodieO has developed a project that fuses cinema, dance, music, fashion and animation into an innovative, modern and unconventional musical film. This film will be an international production between the U.S. and Europe. The internship position will provide valuable practical experience in the early stages of producing this independent feature film. Diverse responsibilities will include:

• Research for the process of casting, assembling crew, and finding reference clips from other films
• Work with social media properties
• Assisting elodieO with various pre-production assignments

Qualifications:

• Strong research skills; proficiency with using the internet as a research tool
• Serious knowledge of American and European cinema
• Experience working with social media (particularly Facebook and Twitter)
• Some familiarity with the musical film genre
• Interest in and knowledge about electronic music a plus

We are looking for our bright, ambitious and self-starting intern to work approximately 16-24 hours a week. The internship will be based remotely and there will be regular check-ins/meetings with elodieO and her team.
