Position description:

The Social Media Intern will report to the Account Executive. You should be a motivated, organized, passionate team player with social media or digital experience and be willing to roll your sleeves up in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner and communicate effectively with the team. We are looking for someone who won’t passively sit at their desk waiting for assignments, but will be proactive and ask “What can I do next?” The intern will get marketing, social media and publishing experience working on fashion, retail and lifestyle accounts. Other responsibilities listed below.

* Assist Account Coordinator and Account Executive with social media marketing campaigns for fashion/retail clients.
* Duties can range from designing Facebook posts, pulling together contact lists, writing copy descriptions and pitches, and pinning to Pinterest.
* Assist the Account Coordinator and Account Executive on day-to-day business needs.
* Participate in client conference calls.
* Assist in outreach to our network of fashion bloggers for client campaigns.
* Contribute creatively to the execution of social media campaigns.
* Paid Internship, hourly wage

Qualifications:

Position Requirements:

- MUST have knowledge and interest in Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and other social media platforms.
- MUST have expertise in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. InDesign/Photoshop experience is a plus
- Interest in fashion and knowledge of fashion bloggers a plus, but not mandatory.
