New York based Emmy award-winning television, film and new media production company is seeking a business intern interested in the entertainment business to join our highly creative cutting-edge team. We have been featured widely in the media from the New York Times to national talk shows. Our shows have been shown on HBO, TLC, and Discovery Health. We are storytellers whose work focuses on people. We are currently in the post-production phase of a personal and social action feature documentary film.

We are offering an opportunity for a business intern with an entrepreneurial mindset to assist in various aspects of day-to-day business interactions.

Responsibilities
• Identify and develop relationships with key partners
• Research business development and partnership opportunities
• Assist with marketing and PR
• Assist in fundraising efforts
• Manage sales/distribution of other products
• Prepare presentations for potential donors as well as outreach presentations for networking/partnerships
• Draft business proposals

Qualifications:

Qualifications:
• Obtaining/recently obtained a degree in Business, Communications, or other related fields.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention detail and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
• Expert in Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong background in networking and business/entrepreneurship
• Proficient at social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Wordpress, Pinterest, Instagram
