Marketing Intern
Description:
YCD Multimedia is seeking a Marketing Intern to assist with building and implementation of corporate marketing strategy, including: completion of focused market research and analysis, implementing social media marketing plan, contributing to corporate thought leadership campaigns and assisting with production of marketing collateral. This position will entail collaboration with internal staff and external resources to complete several key projects during the term of internship. The intern will need to be on-site 20-30 hours per week during the fall semester.The ideal candidate should have some coursework experience in marketing and communications, with a keen eye for detail and the knowledge and skills needed for comprehensive market research. YCD’s clients vary in many degrees and it is essential that all candidates are well-rounded and have a variety of skills and abilities, with a strong interest in digital technology and shopper-marketing. Other responsibilities may include general office administration and project support.
Qualifications:
- Junior/Senior undergraduate student
- Proficiency and knowledge of social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Google.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint are necessary. Additional skills in HTML and Photoshop a plus.
- Professional interest in Digital Signage and Digital Place-based Media applications.
- Academic experience in Digital Marketing, Marketing Strategy and social media applications.
