Assistant to the Producer
Description:
We are seeking an intern to help with workload. This is a great opportunity to learn all aspects of producing from development to distribution. An ideal candidate has excellent organizational and communication skills, detail oriented, creative, computer savvy, reliable and ambitious. Looking for a smart, ambitious go-getter. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Knowledge of marketing and film production, post-production and distribution is a plus but not necessary.Responsibilities include (but not limited to) managing staff and appointments, Internet marketing, blogging, publicity, outreach, research and grant writing. Should be able to work effectively from home on occasion. Internet access is a must. Must have your own laptop. Mac preferred.
This is a full-time internship that requires a 4-6 month commitment, 5 days a week. Current graduates are preferred. If intern shows promise, there is a possibility this can lead to paid job down the road.

-Efficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
-Familiar with Google docs
-Knowledge in Adobe Suite- Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash
-Knowledge of FCP- Final Cut Pro
-Knowledge of new social media (Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn) and viral marketing
