Description:

Throughout the course of your internship, you will have the opportunity to experience all the facets of the Wedding Salon. Including, but not limited to:

- Working closely with our sales team to become well-versed in the process of lead generation, making cold calls, and forming strong relationships with our vendors.
- Coordinating with our Marketing department in keeping our social media up to date.
- Working with PR in participating in press releases, bridal and blogger outreach, contributing to our newsletter, and working with VIP clientele.

You will also gain the necessary hands on experience by working on all aspects of our Wedding Salon show. This involves all prep in the weeks leading up to the show, day-of preparation, (setup, breakdown, and everything in between.) By the end of this internship you will have gained the experience necessary in order to be successful in this industry.

Qualifications:

The Wedding Salon, one of New Yorks premier wedding and event planning firms, is looking for AMAZING interns for a FULL-TIME, Monday-Friday, internship for the Fall/Winter of 2012/13, to start immediately. We are looking for upbeat, hard working, and driven people who are eager to learn the ropes of the wedding/event planning industry.
