Description:

This intern will work directly with the Founder/CEO to build financial models, work on investor presentations, analyze company metrics, build business partnerships and more! Ideal candidate would be an outstanding analytical thinker with a passion for creating great customer experiences and driving bottom line success.

Experience in analyzing business models, particularly of early-stage companies is a plus. Were looking for someone who can commit to 15-20 hours per week.

Interns will get to work at Dumbo Startup Lab, a Dumbo, Brooklyn startup-centric office focused on innovation and entrepreneurship. One stop from the financial district, we are in the same building as successful NY startups such as Etsy, HUGE, NY Mouth and others. This is an amazing opportunity for an ambitious student to gain hands-on start-up experience and have an immediate impact on our growing business.

Qualifications:

Experience/Education:
• Current MBA student or a superstar undergrad business major
• Coursework in Finance, Management, Entrepreneurship, Strategy or related field preferred

Knowledge/Skills:
• Analytical – confident working with data and numbers
• Creative and innovative thinker – ability to think outside the box and come up with new ideas/ways of doing things
• Strategic – keen ability towards solving problems and make decisions
• Results-Oriented – exceptional ability to problem-solve both individually and in a group setting
• Outstanding organizational skills and drive
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Superior Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Interest in e-commerce and startups
