Malia Mills Spring 2013 Fashion Internship

Malia Mills is seeking Spring 2013 interns to assist in all aspects of the fashion business.

We are looking for on-the-ball, forward-thinking, creative gals. We have opportunities for students interested in Design, Production, PR/Marketing, and/or Merchandising for a small, entrepreneurial business. There will be lots of cutting both bathing suits and apparel. Running errands, merchandise tagging, labeling and distribution, shadowing buyer appointments and shows. PR projects and more. We are a small company experiencing tremendous growth, so you will learn all sides to the business. We make all our pieces in the United States, and many of them right here in the Garment Center of New York. We also carry a fresh, well-edited selection of high-quality, ethically-produced third party brands.

Candidates must be enrolled undergraduate college students with a serious interest in the industry. Interns must be available at least two days of the week, 10:30-6pm. Adobe Photoshop is a plus for Design majors. Retail experience is a plus for Merchandising and Business majors. For-credit only with paid lunch. Interns may start immediately.
