Primary responsibilities include:
• Support legal team in sending cease and desist notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright act (DMCA)
• Maintain legal records including for cease & desist notices and contracts
• Assist legal team in day to day tasks
Qualifications:
We’re looking for a smart, enthusiastic and detail-oriented person who is interested in learning the business of film distribution. The candidate must be organized, pro-active and ready to take on a challenge. Good writing, proofreading, and interpersonal skills are necessary. The candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, creative, and collaborative environment. An interest in the legal issues involved in film distribution and copyright is important. A legal background would be a plus.
