What You Will Do: Graphic Design Interns will work in a forward-thinking environment to build the layout, design, style, and “look and feel” of our web-based applications, websites, video, interactive, and print media. Your work will be used, shown, or distributed in everything we present as our brand, services, and products. While gaining true hands-on experience working, you will engage in every aspect of commercial print and web and multi-media design. Projects can include digital image creation, digital photography, video editing, marketing clips, and template designs.

This is not a filing and copying internship.

This is for focused individuals with previous graphics and media management skills desiring significant real-world experience in a concentrated period of time.

Qualifications:

What You Need (Degree, Major, Skills, and Other Qualifications):

Candidates should be hard working, enthusiastic, and resourceful Seniors or Graduate students in CS, CIS, Internet Tech, or Graphic Design with at least TWO of the following:

1) Photoshop CS 5/6
2) Illustrator CS 5/6
3) Wordpress, Blogger, or similar CMS
4) HTML/PHP
5) Video Editing (After Effects, AVS, Final Cut, or similar)

Required: Minimum 3.0 GPA. Prior commercial design experience of any kind

The ideal graphic design intern applicant should possess good written and verbal communication skills and must include samples/portfolio of websites or graphic design pieces with application. Retensa team members are strong team players who are highly motivated with a positive attitude.
