Financial Administrator Intern
Description:
The Rustic Pathways Financial Administrator Internship is a fast-paced 3-month program designed to expose undergraduate students to many aspects of international business and accounting. This hands-on position requires direct involvement in maintaining the accounting of our student allowance accounts and expense reports, maintaining our internal database and completing ad hoc projects as assigned by your Country Director. The position is designed for motivated and energetic individuals who have a burning desire to learn, contribute, and personally grow. The job takes individuals to one of four countries: Thailand, Fiji, Costa Rica or Peru exposing them to international accounting principles and the intricacies of working across cultures. Individuals will work directly with senior level managers who are leaders within the organization and broader industry. Direct manager will be John Giannantonio, a 2009 graduate of Harvard University.
Qualifications:
• Undergraduate with a focus in international business, accounting, finance, economics or a related field.
• Study abroad experience or extensive time immersed in foreign cultures.
• Fluency in at least one language other than English.
• Experience working with youth.
