Cincinnati History Museum Research Assistant
Description:
The Research Assistant Intern will work with the Director of the Cincinnati History Museum on the following projects:
•Create a method for documenting current and new education collection items and props. The document would outline information such as use, location, accession identification number, etc.
•Assist in the creation and locate possible funding opportunities for several new history programs
Qualifications:
•Must be able to use Microsoft office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•Should be self-motivated and be able to work without close supervision and be very detailed oriented.
•Candidate should be able to stand or sit for at least one hour or more.
•Candidate should also be able to walk up and down two flights of stairs and navigate floors that are uneven and/or ramped.
•Occasional lifting of items that may weigh 10 pounds or more.
•Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
•Must possess excellent communication and good listening, mediating and organizational skills.
