Description:
Assist the Horticulture Staff at the historic property which consists of approximately 70 acres and is host to seven distinct gardens and a greenhouse/conservatory which are open to the public. They will learn through the installation of garden plantings, maintenance of historic gardens, and use of an extensive collection of plant material.
Qualifications:
•Currently enrolled in Agronomy, biology, Floriculture, Landscape Horticulture, Forestry, Turf Management, or related major or minor degree.
•Experience in gardening preferred.
•Ability to meet flexible schedule.
•Physically able to lift, bend, and work in kneeling position.

Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens is the former estate of Franklin Seiberling and his family, who lived here from 1915 to 1955. The family donated Stan Hywet Hall to a non-profit organization so that the public could enjoy and experience a noteworthy chapter in American history. Today guests can take a guided tour through the Manor House, grounds and enjoy our diversity of public programs and events.
