Vizion Group, Inc. offers full-service management, consultation, marketing and fundraising services to the non-profit, tourism, and event industries. The principals of Vizion Group have extensive experience producing and promoting over 1,500 special events including fundraisers, celebrity charity events, professional sports, benefit galas and grass roots events.

The Vizion Group seeks creative, enthusiastic, self motivated individuals for their Fundraising & Special Events internship. This position is ideal for a student interested in working in event planning, fundraising, marketing, or public relations. Ideal candidates should be sophomores, juniors, seniors and recent college graduates.

Interns will be given tasks pertaining to:
• Develop fundraising plan for various non-profit clients and provide creative ideas
• Research and identify target foundations, corporations, philanthropists for grants
• Produce fundraising and promotional materials
• Facilitate mailings and direct mail campaigns
• Assist in planning process for special events including researching and securing sponsors, identifying locations, identifying entertainment, developing fundraising campaigns and marketing event in successful manner
• Coordinate volunteers to ensure successful event
• Perform administrative tasks in a professional manner
• Enter data into fundraising software
Past interns have been responsible for assisting in the planning of a fundraising gala, a charity volleyball tournament, and similar events.

Skills: Applicants should be proficient in Microsoft Office, detail-oriented, able to complete tasks efficiently, and effective communicators. Interns are expected to maintain a professional, respectful attitude and represent the company in a positive and poised manner. A general understanding of nonprofits is encouraged, but not required.

Hours/ Credit: A commitment of 15 hours a week are required. Additional hours are strongly encouraged to gain a broader sense of the company as well as our clients. Depending on school policies, 3-6 credits can be awarded for this position. THIS INTERNSHIP IS UNPAID.
Fall internships begin September 6th and run through December 9th.
