Fleck Consulting, Inc. is a progressive political consulting firm based in Allentown, PA with an extensive list of public and private sector clients. The firm specializes in strategic communications, campaign management, marketing, public relations, and governmental affairs.

Core responsibilities for Fundraising/Political Finance Interns will be:

Collaborate with the Fleck Consulting Team in the implementation of fundraising campaigns and programs for our political and non-profit clients; coordinate meetings with key public and private stakeholders, including scheduling, research, and appropriate follow-up; research and prepare memos on potential donors and other assigned topics; draft e-mail blasts to donor lists for issue or outreach campaigns.

This is the perfect opportunity for a proactive, motivated college student to build an excellent network while acquiring and developing the skills necessary to succeed in either the public or private sector. This internship is the perfect training for anyone looking to join the finance team for a top-flight campaign in 2013 or 2014.

Qualifications:

Fundraising/Development Interns should have flexible schedules, a desire to be involved in the political fundraising process, and a strong work ethic.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to balance keen understanding and vision of the clients goals and the firms strategies with a hands-on, detail-oriented approach to pursuing them. Essential qualifications include: superior oral and written communications skills, meticulous attention to detail, excellent telephone manner, and basic computer skills.

Experience working with fundraising database software, such as NGP, is preferred but not required. For interns without this experience, training will be provided.
