JOB DESCRIPTION - MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS INTERNSHIP
Whirley-DrinkWorks! is a family owned and operated manufacturer in Warren, PA. Weve been in operation since 1960, designing and manufacturing products for the food and beverage industry.

Title: Marketing Communications Intern

Location: Warren, PA

Supervisors: Jacqui Cintron, VP of Marketing; Jared Villella & Mary Hagan Double, Marketing Communications Specialist;

Responsibilities:
The Marketing Department at Whirley-DrinkWorks! creates the strategy and deliverables that promote our brand, support our sales force team and execute campaigns for our key sales channels. Our internship position involves researching market trends, designing effective sales tools and assisting in the analysis of campaign results. We work hard and have a lot of fun at work!

Qualifications:
• Strong verbal communication and copywriting skills
• Must be a self-starter, proactive, work well with minimal supervision and bring new ideas to the table
• You should have strong knowledge and experience using social media networks and mobile technology
• You need to be able to use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and demonstrate your knowledge by creating a simple file
• Should be well versed in the foundations of visual and graphic layouts
• Students in the third or fourth year in a Communications, Marketing, or Graphic Design major preferred
• Experience with Business to Business marketing is a plus, but you don’t need it
• Extra-Extra bonus points for experience with photo light booths, digital slr photography or writing HTML

Time Commitment: 40 hours/week; 8am – 4:30pm with a 30 minute lunch

Qualifications:

Must have experience in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop and submit a project as proof
Should be well versed in visual layout theory
Experience in web authoring or digital photography is a bonus!
