Internship Description: The Campus Rep Brand Ambassador (BA) will learn many aspects of sales, marketing, advertising and communications. You will market and advertise the MyNetwork program on your campus. You will focus on generating signups from fellow students, spreading the word about MyNetwork across campus, meeting with the Career Center Director, the Dean of Students, and anyone else who would be interested in the MyNetwork program.
We will provide you with all the materials you will need – you just need to creatively use them. Depending on the candidate and the needs, this position may also include elements of ongoing intern and project management.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to earn additional income recruiting other BAs and Campus Rep Talent Scout (TS). To receive credit, BAs must be from other schools and TSs must be students at your school who can help recruit BA’s from other schools. More information on the TS program is available in a separate document.

Location: This is a virtual internship. You can be located anywhere and work from campus (or home, or Starbucks, or the library…).
Timeline: Immediately! Internships are expected to last approximately 15 weeks, or one full semester. Typically interns average 10 hours per week and make their own schedule. These terms are flexible.
Compensation: This is a paid internship based on performance. You will receive $500 or 5-10% commission (depending on school size) for helping sign your school on as a MyNetwork client, whichever is more. You will also receive $100 for each Campus Rep Brand Ambassador you recruit that (1) is hired and (2) reaches basic performance goals (we will define). You will receive $100 for each Campus Rep Talent Scout you recruit that (1) successfully recruits two Campus Rep Brand Ambassadors.

Qualifications:

Ideal Candidate: Organized, detail-oriented, and great at people management. Please have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfort and proficiency with technology like email, the Internet, MS Office, and have the willingness to learn user-friendly software. Able to multi-task and work independently.
Applicants with a background and/or interest in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or Human Resources are preferred but not necessary. Having an interest and appreciation for networking and building powerful networks certainly will help!
