This internship is designed to help students acquire skills and experience in the mental health field. The intern will learn how to screen clients, understand mental health laws and HIPAA privacy practices, write and edit articles for the newsletter or social networking sites, maintain medical charts. Most importantly, they will get hands on experience of work in the mental health field.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be in the process of receiving their Bachelors degree in Psychology or a related field and have a strong interest in pursuing graduate education in the mental health field.
