Financial Management Officer, YA-0501-01/02
Location: USA-SC-Charleston Afb
Full time permanent job.
Duties:
• Serve as a special assistant to the Comptroller with responsibility for providing technical assistance and guidance to management officials and technicians engaged in the different financial services provided to the base, Department and tenant organization(s).
• Promote sound financial services decisions in AF organizations and activities.
• Provide administrative oversight of the Quality Assurance Program and maintain effective communications and work relationships.
• Coordinate with mobility office. Perform other related work also.

Qualifications:

• Must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level.
• For the YA-01, Masters or equivalent degree or two (2) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. OR J.D., in a relevant field of study (such as, in accounting, finance, business administration).
• For the YA-02A, Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or three (3) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., in a relevant field of study (such as, in accounting, finance, business administration). For the YA-02B, No education substitution is allowed. Education substitution for all levels must have equipped the applicant with the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
