The objective for the Marketing Internship is to assist in ongoing marketing research. Duties will include web-based research, conducting marketing surveys of museum visitors, and other tasks as needed based on the marketing projects for the month. The intern will use practical real life application of course curriculum in a professional setting. Students who have not been exposed to the world of non-profit management will experience first-hand the museum world. In turn TCMU will receive much needed assistance in ongoing marketing research to help brand the 80,000 sq. ft. museum which serves over 100,000 visitors annually.

Qualifications:

Marketing Interns must have great interpersonal/communication skills. Students must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. Students must pass a SLED check. Students are required to submit a cover letter and resume. Students will need to complete a volunteer application and pass an in person interview with museum staff.
