Description:

• Operational responsibility to administer and the widely diversified FIM environment and its related downstream systems within Siemens Energy.
• This position will also administer and manage the Microsoft SQL database environment within the Americas region.
• Interact and work with the external Infrastructure Service provider to test and deploy database related fixes and maintenance upgrades.

Qualifications:

• Operational responsibility to administer and the widely diversified FIM environment and its related downstream systems within Siemens Energy.

• Interact and work with the external Infrastructure Service provider to test and deploy database related fixes and maintenance upgrades.
• Deploy code and program updates across Development, QA and Production environments as needed.
• Identify any known vulnerabilities within the environment and remediate them.
• Develop and provide design consultation for web services on projects and other new opportunities.
• Maintain system documentation.
• Develop recommendations for changes in development, maintenance and systems standards.
• Monitor web and related services in the environment and proactively address any issues that could cause impact.
• Evaluate new requests/ project opportunities for synchronization services, working with various IT and business groups to define the scope and requirements.
• Review and report on project status and escalate project issues to stakeholders.
• Support the standardization and optimization of the Identity Information services environment within Siemens Energy.
• Interact with different back-end systems like SAP, Oracle and SQL Servers.
• Advanced level of experience using Windows Command and VBScript scripting languages using Windows Scripting Host. (Knowledge of PowerShell accepted)
• Advance experience using MSQuery and ADO Data connection objects in Microsoft Excel 2007 or higher.
• In depth knowledge of web/ Domino platforms and related technologies mentioned below.
• Demonstrated architectural and operational knowledge to administer and manage the FIM environment and its related downstream systems.
• Demonstrated experience to administer and manage the Microsoft SQL database environment within a global network.
• Operational experience implementing and administrating Managed Agents in MIIS 2003, ILM 2007 and/or FIM 2010 Synchronization services.
• Completion of the Advanced Implementer and Developer Course for ILM or FIM. (SQLSoft Corp. or Oxford Computer Group – Bellevue, Washington)
• 1+ year of hands on experience Visual Studio 2008 or 2010 programming in VB.Net and experience programming and designing, Managed Agent and Metaverse MVExtension projects.
• MSCE Certification or equivalent experience in Active Directory and Windows Server 2008.
• 1+ year of hands on experience creating and administrating Active Directory Application Mode (ADAM) or server 2008 Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS)
• MCDBA certification in SQL Server 2008 or experience to exhibit competency.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Administration for releases SQL 2000, SQL 2005, SQL 2008 R2, SQL 2012
- Install the SQL Server along with patching and maintenance
- Create Database
- Create Maintenance Plans
- Add users/ AD groups for authorization to databases.
- Restore Databases from backups.
- Promote scripts to production.
- Move databases from one server to another.
- Restart services or servers.
- Ability to provide level one through three troubleshooting and support.
• Experience with Windows Servers (2003/ 2008/ 2008 R2):
- Security, access, NTFS, shares, Services, patches, Scheduled Tasks, scripting/automation, environment variables, registry, best practices in security
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Active Directory, LDAP, Authentication, DNS, Aliases
