Description:

We are seeking a virtual marketing and social media intern. The internship provides an excellent opportunity to learn about the non-profit industry and to get hands-on experience working in a fast-paced marketing and social media department. As part of our team, you will be responsible for:
Integrating social media tools and updating our social media sites for advertising and readership.
Maintaining active profiles on a variety of social media platforms.
Creating written content for blog site, newsletter and participant�s pages and optimizing their stream.
Creating reports and update databases for active and archives.
Help execute direct-mail strategies using variable data marketing techniques
Assisting with developing overall marketing strategies.

Qualifications:

Practical experience/knowledge with various social media; flare for creative writing; strong work ethic. Excellent written/verbal skills (bilingual - English and Spanish a+). Strong computer skills/extremely Internet savvy; proficiency with MS Office Suite: PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Firm understanding of online technologies and ability to adapt quickly, manage multiple projects and work proficiently under deadlines.

Looking for
Current students of undergraduate, graduate or doctoral studies; marketing or business majors preferred. Related coursework. Seeking to learn more about management, social media and/or marketing.
