Description:

STRATMARK, a Richardson based direct response fundraising agency is seeking an intern for our Human Resources Department. This internship will provide an opportunity for a qualified student seeking college credit to engage in administrative support for our HR Department. Under supervision, the student in this position will:

•Learn the full-cycle recruiting process and how to recruit for qualified candidates
•Learn the on-boarding process and how to conduct new hire orientation sessions
•Learn HR compliance and legal guidelines
•Learn compensation and benefit processes

Responsibilties will include:
•Management of applicant tracking system along with recruiting functions and the job offer process
•Assisting with on-boarding and the new hire orientation process
•Processing personnel action forms, along with new hire and termination paperwork
•Maintaining organization and ensuring confidential handling of all HR related files and documents
•Updating the HR portion of STRATMARKs company intranet site
•Data entry, preparing, and maintaining reports as needed
•Upon conclusion, the student should come away with an enhanced working knowledge of HR processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

Must be able to receive college credit for this internship

Minimum junior year college student with an interest in Human Resources field

Able to handle high level of confidentiality, with sound judgement and work ethic

Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail

Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Professional demeanor with solid communication skills, both verbal and written

Willingness to learn
