Description:

The Technical Writer Intern will work under the supervision of the Proposal Team to gain experience, and provide assistance with:
The development of written proposals for Federal clients in accordance with Global Technology Solutions standard processes and templates
Document quality assurance and compliance with applicable Request for Proposal (RFP) instructions
The maintenance of reusable information, proposal document library, and research material
The management of proposal timelines and deadlines
The support of business development, operational, and corporate initiatives.
Additional duites as assigned.

Qualifications:

The Technical Writing Internship requires an acute attention to detail and impeccable proofreading/editing ability.
Interns shall display an inherent talent for all forms and levels of communication, word process skills, and desktop publishing experience.
The Technical Writing Internship is designed to exploit the student’s affinity for writing, so that by the end of the Internship, the student will possess demonstrated and professional experience as a Technical Writer for a Federal contractor.
All Interns shall work efficiently under pressure in high stress environments and maintain the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. This demands that the Intern shall constantly prioritize multiple tasks at a rapid pace.
