Responsibilities:
• Compose articles and blogs with telecommunication-related content
• Conduct interviews with professionals within the telecommunications and information industry
• Manage outreach to various telecommunication publications and media contacts
• Provide sufficient support to PR and Marketing branches of the association

Skills to be developed:
Enhance written and oral communication skills
Learn about latest industry strategies
Foster a rapport with career practitioners and employers as well as members of the media

Qualifications:

Qualifications:
• Highly motivated; able to challenge yourself without supervision
• Polished oral and written communication skills
• Eye for detail and ability to balance different tasks well
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word programs – ie. Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.
• Experience with social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Wordpress, etc.
• Previous journalism and/or writing experience strongly preferred
• Communications, Journalism, English majors preferred
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75
