Supervisor: Eileen Bramlet, Marketing and PR VP

Responsibilities:
• Writing and editing, including web content, press releases, publicity materials and more.
• Assisting in the creation and dissemination of internal & external communication materials
• Support of social media outreach
• Proofreading and copyediting press releases, web content, etc.
• Composing articles for the association’s blog

Skills to be developed:
Enhance written and oral communication skills
Learn latest newest strategic communication strategies
Foster a rapport with career practitioners and employers

Qualifications:

Qualifications:
• Self-motivated; desire to achieve without constant supervision
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word programs – ie. Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.
• Experience with social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Wordpress, etc.
• Previous public relations experience strongly is a plus
• Communications, Marketing, Public Relations majors preferred
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75
