Intern to the CEO
Description:
World Uniting, a start-up non-profit, is seeking an intern to work directly with the CEO (founder, author, and speaker). Responsibilities include:* Donor communications
* Data Entry with CRM tool for tracking donors, volunteers, etc. (Insightly) and other administrative duties
* Assist in Fundraiser and Event Planning
* Research/write/edit articles and web content on a broad range of LGBTQ, Religious, and Social issues
* Explore creative ways to engage and expand WU network
* Other responsibilities as they develop, based on intern interest areas and CEOs needs
Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree (or degree in progress) in a liberal arts degree (religion, philosophy, social issues, communications, pr, etc.)
* Interest in religious, social, conflict resolution issues
* Strong writing and research skills
* Ability to navigate religiously and socially delicate situations, conversations, and materials
* Detail-oriented
* Self-starter, flexible and able to manage multiple tasks
* Open to feedback, with strong desire to develop professional skills
* Effective interpersonal communication skills
* Ability to work in a team or independently as needed
* Ability to represent WU professionally at events and at social occasions
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
