Description:

Assess the organizations needs and meet those needs through the recruitment, placement, and retention of volunteers
Research and write volunteer policies and procedures
Research and share appropriate support and training for volunteers
Promote volunteering (internally and externally) through recruitment and publicity strategies and campaigns
Recruit volunteers and ensuring they are appropriately matched and trained for a position
Monitor, support, motivate, and accredit volunteers and their work
Celebrate volunteering by nominating volunteers for awards and organizing celebration events
Organize profile-raising events to attract new volunteers
Attend committees and meetings
Maintain databases and undertaking any other administrative duties to organize volunteer lists.
Flexible to performs similar duties as assigned
