This company is an empowerment research company providing evaluation and monitoring services to public and development sector organizations in Southern Africa. The focus of their work is on programme evaluations – aimed at assessing a project’s outcomes and strengths and weaknesses in achieving its goals. They also assist organisations with the development of their own monitoring and evaluation frameworks and work includes:
Development of M&E frameworks and Conducting M&E training
Research skills and Facilitation skills
Project management
Internship tasks:
You will primarily be involved in qualitative studies. Your work will be research driven so you will also need to possess good analytical skills and be able to work independently. Duties more specifically will include the following:
-Be responsible for logistical arrangement for research study
-Conduct research interviews where appropriate
-Assist with research administration, including document reviews and transcriptions
