A lot of Chinese, especially the young generation are eager to explore sailing. After the 2008
Olympic Games, the quest for sailing among common Chinese have largely increased. Therefore, we would like to ask you, fellow sailors out there who are reading this, to help us to teach and inspire our younger generation in China. With your commitment, youll bring sailing and sailing culture close to them, let it grow within them. Youll be an ambassador not only of where you come from, but also of the sailing culture youve grown in. You are to pass your savoir to Chinese children from all social backgrounds. At the same time, teaching in China will be a most unforgettable experience in your life: youll be confronted with people who think and speak with totally different cultural context, yet share the same passion and enthusiasm with you. Youll work closely with Chinese colleagues and fellow coaches, as well as translators. It will be a big challenge and opportunity for you to get to know China and its people from an unusual platform - through its nautical sport.
Qualifications:
*RYA Sailing Instructor (all levels) , FFA Moniteur de Voile ( all levels), or Sailing Instructor License
issued by other sailing federation or organization.
*Candidates without an official sailing coaching license will also be considered if proved to have adequate
sailing and teaching experience.
* First-aid certificate.
* Easy going and open-minded sailors.
* Being able to work with children from different cultural backgrounds.
* The language of work is English, knowledge of Mandarin will be a plus.
* Enthusiasm for sailing.The sailing program runs every year in different cities in China. The 2010 Summer Sailing
Program starts on 29th June and ends on 1st September 2010.
Youd be expected to stay for minimum 4 weeks and maximum 8 weeks.

As a sailing instructor, your participation will be free of charge, although a small subsidy towards living costs may be available depending on experience.Tags:Accommodation is provided in all our sailing centres (this may vary from dormitory to private rooms).
Lunch may be also included in some of our sailing centers.
