1. Supporting Regional Offices
You will work closely with, and support, the Regional Managers to manage the company’s
regional operations across China and Asia. This includes the following:
l Handle inquiries and correspondence;
l Maintain office records, equipment, files and other documents;
l Manage your own Marketing accounts;
l Submit monthly Marketing accounts to relevant staff; and
l Promote and maximise the company’s overall interests.2. Supporting Colleagues
You will work closely with, and support, all colleagues and partner university representatives
in China and abroad on a wide range of tasks, including the following:
l Promotional activities;
l Coordinating marketing schedules for colleagues and partner university representatives;
l Assisting Admissions colleagues with application queries and liaison with agents; and
l Providing company line management with up-to-date feedback on local agents,
markets and competitors.
3. Agent Network Management
You will assist Regional Managers to accomplish the following:
l Maintain regular contact with, and provide close support to, the company’s agents;
l Make strategic decisions on which agents to work closely with, and which agents to
downgrade or terminate, to maximise the company’s interests;
l Maintain an effective agent network by constant recruitment of new, strong agents,
and the termination of ineffective or problematic agents;
l Train agents effectively and constantly to ensure they deliver high quality applications
and represent the company in a positive light;
l Coordinate the timely distribution of promotional materials and the translation and
distribution of the company’s news items to agents;
l Ensure agents maintain a positive view of the company, its staff, and its partner
universities through your courteous and professional manner;
l Assist agents in resolving problems or misunderstandings; and
l Travel extensively in China, Hong Kong and Macau to conduct regular agent visits and
training; to participate in joint promotional activities; and to counsel students and their
families.4. Company Promotional Activities and Enrolment Budgets (Focussing on specific UK
University)
You will work closely with, and support, colleagues and partner university representatives on
a wide range of promotional activities, including the following, to achieve successful
delivery of student enrolment budgets (with particular focus on specific UK University):
l Logistical preparations for meetings, seminars, and exhibitions;
l Make strategic decisions on which promotional activities to participate in to maximise
the company’s interests;
l Represent the company at exhibitions and other promotional events, where giving
seminars and extensive counselling to students are typically required; and
l Accompany and assist colleagues and partner university representatives to conduct
agent visits, agent training, and promotional activities.
5. Other Duties on Request
The company is developing rapidly, and circumstances and requirements are likely to
change throughout the course of your work at the company. The company therefore
requires you to commit to the following principles:
l To be flexible and to assist with all reasonable duties on request, as directed by line
management;
l To acknowledge that it is not possible to provide an exhaustive description of all of
Regional Manager responsibilities, and that duties will include, but will not be limited to,
the above; and
l To undertake to perform a wide range of different duties as part of a team.
Qualifications:
YOUR PROFILE
l University graduate, with excellent communication skills in English and Chinese;
l Strong track record and experience in sales and marketing;
l Understanding of international student recruitment;
l Organised, with strong attention to detail;
l Strong numeracy and IT skills with ability to prepare and analyse reports;
l Demonstrated record in managing enrolment and cost budgets; and
l Willing to travel extensively.PREFERRED CANDIDATE (SUMMARY):
