TandemLaunch Technologies, a turn-key accelerator based in Montreal, is currently looking for motivated business interns looking for an opportunity to be immersed in all aspects of technology commercialization; from finding the right opportunity, to making it a reality.

Your tasks will vary in complexity based on your performance during your internship, with nearly limitless opportunities for highly qualified interns. Business interns also have the option to enroll in the TandemLaunch Entrepreneurship Program, and go through the process of developing their own mini-startup.

Responsibilities may include:
• Marketing (developing and distributing collateral, strategy)
• Market research
• Project identification and evaluation
• Business plan development
• Investment due diligence
• Project management
• Product development

Terms of Employment. This is a 6 month unpaid internship based in Montreal, with the potential to grow into an employee role. Internship stipends may be available in certain situations, and participation in the company’s employee incentive plan. We pride ourselves in maintaining a diverse team, and can assist with some aspects of relocation and immigration.

Qualifications:

• Proactive self-starter capable of working independently
• A team player and effective communicator
• Demonstrated problem solving skills, and adaptability
• The ability to learn and familiarize yourself with new ideas and technologies quickly
• Comfort and experience with technical marketing tools (CRM databases, document design software, video editing) is an asset
• Strong written and spoken English, and spoken French (other languages an asset)
• A passion for new multimedia technology
• Interest in working in a fast-paced startup environment
