Internship Description: As a Graphic Design Illustrator you will research and design exciting, hands-on learning material and activities for kids based on specific themes such as astronomy, sea life, environmental protection, emergency preparedness, and self-esteem. Your primary responsibility will be designing illustrations for challenge kits geared towards education and activity learning. These along with other exciting design projects such as patches and crests will allow you to contribute to the growth and success of an innovative and exciting online company. Learning outcomes will include:
• Material research • Writing meeting summaries
• Illustration techniques • Critical thinking skills
• Creating agendas • Communication skills

Qualifications:
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will be creative and self-motivated. Some experience designing logos and other illustrative work is required due to the nature of the position. The ideal candidate should also have great organization and communication skills, be able to follow directions, and be eager and motivated to contribute to ongoing projects. Meetings once a week make a computer with Skype a necessary requirement for this internship.Having been or still a Girl Guide/Girl Scout/Boy Scout member is an asset but not necessary.
