A UK leading online furniture’s retailers is looking for an intern to work on the online ordering and delivery system. The intern will work closely with the company’s head developer. This is an exciting opportunity to build on your skill set and gain invaluable experience in a fast growing company.

Daily Duties:
• Work with the IT team to offer their customers a more bespoke service in terms of choosing delivery time slots, options around packaging…
• Implement changes from the ordering system to the website structure and the underlying database.
• Work with databases and Web application to accommodate the new functionality
• Developing new business intelligence reports
• Testing the system and fixing any bugs

Qualifications:

Requirements:
• We are seeking rising juniors with some academic it experience
• Have strong analytical skills and be able to compile, review and interpret data.
• Have the skills to use VB Asp.net, jQuery, SQL
• Have interest in the Microsoft development technologies.
• Be hands-on, action oriented and a fast learner
• Have good written and verbal communication skills
• Be effective at prioritisation, organisation and be able to work
• Be committed to delivering quality work with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and on a team
