The PitchHere at Hi Fly Nest and Rooks Nest Entertainment we’re always looking for innovative and passionate people to work with. Right now we’re looking to foster an eager to learn recent(ish) graduate, or someone looking to get a toehold in a new industry.
Internships eh? We’ve all been there and know what they can be like, so we want to make this the best internship going, with your help. We pride ourselves on honesty, so please understand there is definitely no job at the end of this, although we do often need freelance help and you’ll learn a lot, from two different companies, and have fun doing it. The internship will be very flexible too.
We’re looking primarily for someone interested in working in an agency environment/film/video production, and equally we need plenty of help developing our social presence, so if you want social/online/digital experience that works too. If you like the look of us but have different skills, make us an offer!
About Hi Fly Nest & Rooks Nest Entertainment
HFN is a creative content agency specialising in video. We’re ambitious about making content in a new way for forward-thinking brands/companies across the corporate sector, other agencies and fashion, etc. Rooks Nest Entertainment, our parent company, is an independent film production company whose first feature My Brother The Devil releases in October has been winning awards all over the world.
About The Role
The role is expenses paid plus a fiver for lunch (Nude Espresso do incredible soup, or huge bowls of fresh salad, etc, for less than that…) and will require you to help out across the board, working closely with Chris (Creative Director), Danny (Business Development Manager) and Mike (Founder and MD of both companies) attend the odd shoot, help out around the office, read scripts, and more. If you really impress we just might let you make the tea and coffee too. The length and hours of the internship is open to discussion.
The perfect candidate would be:
Super organized, methodical and a quick learner.
Knowledgeable about the media world, brands, fashion, film/video production etc.
Interested (on a more personal level) in video/film/music/communications/design etc.
Calm and considered but with a sense of urgency.
Good at hacky-sack and/or into Scandinavian electro pop.Get Involved

The position would start asap, we’re based on Soho Street (but about to move to over the road from Mornington Crescent tube) and you will need your own laptop (preferably a mac but not essential). And please, if you’d like more information, don’t be afraid to ask.
