Internships are a big deal at Trend Hunter. Rather than fetching coffee or making copies, our interns are the heart and soul of our publication. As a key part of our team, interns working on video projects will build up portfolios full of interesting interviews, fun creative videos, educational shorts and build skills that set them up for success (such as search engine optimization).

Our full-time video interns learn to strategically brainstorm concepts, execute projects efficiently and hone in on the detail/quality of their work.

Over the course of a semester, our goal is for each video editor interns to have over 50 published videos and thousands of views to their work on Trend Hunter’s YouTube channel.

After learning the ropes, our video editor interns get to drive exciting projects, which have included the creation of fun community videos, celebrity interviews and viral videos. Qualifications:

All applicants should have a strong understanding of SLR cameras, sound and lighting equipment, managing production files, uploading videos to YouTube and Final Cut Pro.
