We are searching for an intern in our company to develop a CRM system using MS Access or similar, manage our Joomla based websites and develop our Chinese Graduate Index database using PHP and CSS.

Qualifications:

Internship Description:
- Develop our network of university partners, with a focus on your home country/region. This will mainly be focusing on careers centres, whereby the new InternChina careers network and current graduate placement and job opportunities will be the main ‘selling points’.
- Significantly develop our presence on Facebook by aggressively targeting relevant groups, forums and individuals. Improving and regularly updating the content on the page will also be essential.
- Help to maintain our other social and business networks online and in person at relevant networking events. Update job boards with current internship opportunities in order to advertise our programs.
- Visit new and existing partner companies and host families with colleagues in order to help develop our business in Qingdao or Zhuhai.
- Organize regular social and cultural activities and trips for our clients independently. Taking photos and blogging about such events and trips is essential and organisation of activities from the idea of what to do, right up to the follow up work and everything in between is expected.
- Assisting our management team with administration and handling of enquiries for our programs
- Help with pickups and welcoming our clients to Qingdao or Zhuhai. Acting as a bridge between new arrivals and their host family and host company.
- Assisting our Chinese/foreign marketing-team with finding new Chinese host-families (leafleting, weekend-activities etc.)

Requirements:

- to be fluent in English
- another European language would be a plus
- some knowledge of Chinese would be a big plus
- degree related to business, languages or Chinese studies would be ideal
- able to use basic office software effectively
- familiar with all main social networking sites and business networks such as LinkedIn
- ability to communicate with our team and work efficiently to achieve our goals
- willing to work in a small team and ability to work under stress

Salary, benefits: free accommodation in a shared apartment with one other intern (5-6 month internship only)
