This year, 2013, La Giraudiere is offering 6 - 8 internship places abroad in France as an assistant to the project director in France.The successful applicants would each during their internships be working alongside the present project director For the last five years La Giraudiere as offered one of the most successful volunteer projects in France, if not Europe, which attracts volunteers from around the globe, as accommodated school trips from UK and USA, offers English Language programs for French speakers and now Internships.
The internship will center around the volunteers project and will also touch some aspects of the other programs. Apart from learning about the administration side of the project your competance in speaking French and knowledge of the language will be assed and improved. Each week interns benefit from a half a day lesson in a group and two half a days each week on a one to one basis with our French teachers.
One of the fundamental differences between this internship and those you will find advertised and offered elsewhere is that we, La Giraudiere, provide you the internship in France with your accommodation and meals and so much more. Qualifications:
This is a trainee position and it will be your application form together with your resume or cv that will secure a place at La Giraudiere.

30 - 36 hours depending with or without credit

La Giraudiere
La Giraudiere is based in the south west of France and since 2007 as been welcoming volunteers from around the world to help create a place of learning. Over the last 5 years hundreds of volunteers have arrived and helped with the project and the creation of the different program La Giraudiere offer today.2011, saw the foundations laid for the School Trips to France website, and to date we have already accommodated school trips and groups from the UK and the USA. This year we will be adding an Sejour Linguistic program for French speakers wishing to improve their English.
So, a Volunteers Program for those wanting to help; Internships for those wishing to acquire knowledge and skills for life; and School Trips for school children to learn about France and the French way of life and a reason for French speakers to come and join in.
