Description:

InGlobed requires an intern English Teacher to develop and deliver short English language courses either to Internationals or South Asia learners. The courses are designed to provide essential life skills and global awareness.
The English Teacher Intern/Volunteer will develop and deliver basic English courses or internationally recognised IELTS / TEFL courses. Courses will run for 2-3 months at different points throughout the year and English teachers will be required to develop materials and lesson plans, deliver classes, mark assessments, provide feedback and encouragement to students, and ensure that the course complies with external standards.
Additional tasks include arranging extra curricular activities, creating innovative and interesting lesson plans; classroom management; preparing and setting tests, examination papers, and exercises; devising, writing and producing new materials, including audio and visual resources; and organising and getting involved in social activities.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have completed at least 2 years of further studies in teaching, education, English literature, linguists or related field. TEFL / TESOL qualifications and teaching experience are preferred.

Ability to use creativity and imagination to deliver learning objectives.

Hours:

37.5h p/week

Length/Availability:

3-12 months (flexible start/finish times)

*Please note that flights, visa costs, insurance and travel costs associated with getting from the airport to InGlobed in Himachal Pradesh are not included.

Fees

InGlobed is self-sustaining organisation still its infancy, while we do not charge weekly or monthly fees to participate, we do ask our interns and volunteers to pay a one-off administration and legal fee prior to arrival. This fee helps the organisation to cover the costs of running an international internship and volunteer program, including local legal fees, facilities, staffing costs and recruitment. We do not make a profit from your fees nor do the fees pay for the academic programs that we offer. They simply cover the cost of hosting interns and volunteers.
