About the Job

We are currently looking for new talents to build up and optimize Business Intelligence processes and join our highly professional and dynamic team. You will be in charge of developing and managing exciting Business Intelligence campaigns, as well as enhance our Business Intelligence systems and reporting structure. The role will provide the candidate with an exceptionally broad view of every aspect of the business and serve as critical support for Senior Management.
In detail this means you will support business objectives in making strategic data-related decisions by analyzing, internally managing and reporting of the various business organization activities. Your analyses and creation of insightful data models will have a positive impact on the business operations, as well as on the exploration of other operational performance indicators and competitive drivers for the overall business. In addition to this, you will be working together with our BI Specialists to document requirements and ensure models are accurately implemented in production systems. Furthermore, you will provide creative solutions to help solve complex business problems using advanced analytical techniques and leveraging both internal and external data sources, along with frequent interaction with other cross-functional business units (such as business development, brand operations and marketing). Finally, you will perform quality assurance checks on data, reports, and presentations.

Qualifications:

After earning your degree in a BI related subject (e.g. informatics, mathematics, business, social science), you were able to gain at least four years professional experience in relevant data analysis. You have an advanced understanding of relational database principles and concepts, statistics, as well as working knowledge of Oracle and MySQL. You possess advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPivot skills, as well as advanced SQL skills in conjunction with hands-on experience with data warehouse projects and/ or solutions. You have a working knowledge of Google Analytics and similar online analytic tools. A plus would be experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Oracle Business Intelligence, Pentaho or Japersoft. You are highly motivated and love to handle complex tasks. You have a thirst for knowledge and natural curiosity that facilitates rapid learning of our business model and our data infrastructure at a scale that supports our network in different countries. Finally, you are self-motivated, detail-oriented, have the ability to work with limited supervision and must be comfortable in an environment of constantly changing priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English complete your profile - German is a big plus.
