Description:

Funded by the European Union, Leonardo da Vinci is an international language and internship initiative. Twin Work & Volunteer Abroad has been awarded funding for 365 internships for group departures to Europe in 2008/2009.

We are currently running 2 separate programmes: HORIZONS is for 14 weeks and COMPASS for 10.
Internship placements available in the following industries:
Travel & Tourism (inc. hotel/catering)- Business Administration – Retail - Information and communications technology – Marketing & Sales – Finance – Media & PR - Journalism & Reporting – Health Care – Child Care & Youth Services - Music & Performing Arts - Teaching & Training - Manual Trades – Medical Services – Sport & Fitness - Design (fashion, textile, graphic).

Qualifications:

At the time of departure you must be over 18, a citizen of an EU country, resident in the UK, you must also be able to commit to 10 or 14 weeks, attend an interview in London, be open and flexible.
You do not necessarily have to speak the host country language.Foreign language skills are required in certain destinations, although English is appropriate in other countries.
