The Korean Cultural Center Washington, D.C. at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea is currently seeking part/full time interns to assist with cultural event projects and research.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support cultural events, projects, and promotion efforts
- Administrative assistance, and culture related research
- Manage SNS accounts (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr)

(1) Candidates should be able to start in September and be prepared to devote at least 3 full months
(2) Hours: Mon-Fri, 9 am - 5:30 pm (lunch: 12:00 - 1:30pm). Full-time is preferred, but part-time schedules are possible, subject to approval.
(3) Compensation: This is an unpaid internship, except for occasional overtime hours or special event duties as may be required. The KCC will issue a certificate of recognition for those who successfully complete their internship.

(3) Attach to your email the following documents (in Korean and/or English): Resume, the completed form (available for download at http://www.koreaculturedc.org/En/About/Career.asp), and a cover letter that answers the personal statement questions on page 2 of the form. Additionally, you may attach any documents related to your qualifications, such as diplomas, school transcripts, proof of related work experience, etc.

- Fluency in both Korean and English is preferred, but the position is open to speakers of either language.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products and the Hangul word processor program
- Legal status to work as an intern in the United States (i.e. holders of F-1, J-1 visas or OPT). Please note the Korean Cultural Center does not sponsor work permits or visas.
