We are looking for dedicated students or recent college graduates for an internship in our showroom during our NYC PreAW20 season to assist during our busy selling period (selling the PreAW20 collections). It is a perfect way to gain more experience in the industry; we are a small team and also work closely with the designers who we represent.

Many of the skills learned would also be transferable if you wanted to work in buying in future. We are looking for interns that can commit to the full duration of the internship. The internship will run from December 2nd - 17th.

Qualifications:

The role would include:
• Checking in and out samples received from designers
• Greeting buyers when they arrive for appointments
• Merchandising new collections in the showroom
• Swift running of showroom and smooth changeover of appointments
• Dressing models during selling appointments
• Ensuring the smooth running of appointments by maintaining a tidy showroom space
• Remaining on hand during sales appointments to assist account managers, i.e. taking order notes

The ideal candidate will be:

• Interested in fashion with strong presentation skills
• Positive attitude, team player
• Highly organized & dynamic
• Meticulous attention to details
• Excellent presentation and discretion
