Description:

Help engineers design, develop, test, and manufacture industrial machinery, consumer products, and other equipment. Assist in product tests. Create sketches and rough layouts, record and analyze data, make calculations and estimates, and report on findings. Prepare layouts and drawings of the assembly process and of parts to be manufactured. Estimate labor costs, equipment life, and plant space. Test and inspect machines and equipment or work with engineers to eliminate production problems. Experience in Solidworks required.

Qualifications:

Working towards a Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Manufacturing Engineering or a General Engineering Degree.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate detailed information to co-workers and management
Ability to read and interpret documents such as job orders, procedure manuals, and schematics (blue prints).
Ability to write routine reports and business correspondence.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent mechanical aptitude
Knowledge of hydraulics, diesel engines, power transmissions, electrical and electrical components of construction equipment.
Ability to operate computer and computer software, to include Microsoft Office products, SolidWorks, CAD, and MRP (Finesse).
